Spring

So the month of March begins tomorrow. I'm anxious to see how quickly it will pass by. So many things planned. Traveling to Europe on the 9th through the 15th....working five 12 hour shifts in a row beginning the end of this week (so that my trip will be possible), purchasing appliances off of Craig's list, packing to move into my new house for the end of March. I'm excited for warmer weather. I've got multiple 5k's to train for and the marathon that I want to do this year. Now that my new trombone, stand, discs and music have arrived I've gotta get it maintanenced and begin searching for lessons. The greatest thing I'm anticipating is growth. God has allowed me multitudes of oppourtunites to find my life and lose it. To count all as lost for Christ and to sacrifice all that the world calls great, for that which leads to eternal riches. My hair is growing and I'm becoming more and more confident/competent in my ER/RN role. So incredibly thankful.

Driven Mad...by Myself

Okay, so you're driving and you approach a 4-way stop  intersection. You brake at the stop sign at the exact moment a car opposite of you. What do YOU do? Do you immediately step on the gas? Do  you both advance at the same time, stop again and whoever is further waves the other on? Or do you submissively always give the others the right-a-way? It is my goal to react less passively to life's many situations.

Oh yeah, and today I also saw a bumper sticker that read: "Proud parent of a D.A.R.E. graduate"....I may be mistaken but doesn't EVERYONE graduate from D.A.R.E?

Wi Fi

Today while driving down the street in U-town, I was fiddling with my cell phone. Periodicallly ( because I haven't changed the default) my phone will search for wi fi and give the original coustomer's  code name to their internet as well as whether it is locked or not. Randomly, I drove through a zone in which a particular provider had named their network " Our Shit ". Laughing to myself, I double checked...of course, it was locked :)
